She was once just like you and me:
a human, searching for the meaning of her life.

She turned to The Tarot for answers.

The High Priestess told her that her life was shrouded by mystery, and she would have to seek out the truth.

She thought perhaps meaning lay with finding another half. But The Moon showed her that there was deception in others. She became more unsure of herself, more insecure.

The Devil found her then, and tantalised her with visions of wealth and unending pleasures.

She danced with The Devil for some time.
Almost too late, she realised she was enslaved.

Once again, she turned to The Tarot for guidance.

The High Priestess told her to trust in herself.

The Wheel Of Fortune showed her that she was in charge of her own destiny…

And The Sun showed her a path to joy.

So she took back control of her life.
She cut herself free from the bonds that ensnared her.
From everything that was holding her back.

She was fearful of change, but she knew that to keep moving forward, she had to let go.

And she realised that she had found her meaning:
that a new beginning was always on the horizon.

And so, The Thirteenth Tarot was born.
