New Must Have Legs Are Here

Lately we’ve been working really hard on getting our leggings to you at a better price, and the same amazing quality (or better). What can we say? We like a challenge. 

We’ve teamed up with the same awesome partner who helps us produce our Activewear, made some fabric updates – and we’re pretty damn happy with the results.

These updated leggings will be part of our new Must Haves collection (awesome quality, wallet-friendly Essentials to help style all your BM outfits). More on that soon!

So what can you expect from these updated legs? Long story short: you’ll notice the Matte Black legs are softer and blacker, but with the same quality and comfort you’re used to. The Cosy legs are the exact same fabric that you know and love, just at a better price.

Here’s a lil’ example of the difference between the previous Matte Black HW Leggings (left) versus the new ones on the right, so you can see how they hold up when bending over. In these shots, Kristy is wearing an XS (measures and normally wears S as per BM Sizing chart).

Have you tried our previous Matte Leggings? What is your feedback on those? 

Yep yep, they’re my go-to when it comes to plain black leggings. Always felt I had the best pair of plain black leggings of all the brands out there on the market, and never needed to upgrade. They have lasted through plenty of wear and tear, washed a zillion times in the machine without a wash bag, and still hold up like new.

What do you like about the new Matte Black Leggings? 

They’re pretty much the exact same, just not as smooth to touch. But I really don’t buy BlackMilk because I want people to touch my legs anymore. I’ve grown, haha. They have more stretch too, closer to how Awesome fabric stretches, but they’re thicker and… better than Awesome legs imo. Oh and they’re blacker! No shit, compare old matte legs side by side. Blacker = winning.

From all of the new leggings we have sent you, what is your fave pair and why?

The Aqua. The colour is flattering, fun, and stands out. Also, surprisingly you can’t see as much of my dark leg tattoos through it, I thought they’d be on full display with how pastel light the colour is. The warm leggings are a close winner too – they will probably replace my old ones as I like that the fluffy inside is finally black! They’re nicer on the waist too, feels comfier somehow (all of them).

Have you tried our previous Matte Leggings? What is your feedback on those?

I have indeed! I liked the mattes but used to sway more towards the awesome legs as I found them a bit blacker. The previous matte fabric was strong and stretchy, and I always found them comfortable, there were varying degrees of sheerness between the fabric changes over the years, but overall most sharkies who are familiar with the matte fabric will describe them the same way, as having a soft, but strong feel to the fabric. I do find the new black mattes, do have some sheerness though.

What do you like about the new Matte Black Leggings?

They’re soft and feel nice against my skin, they still have that same softness we all.know and love, and the waistband is stretchy and doesn’t cut in, and I love that they sit high waisted (although I have a short torso so everything sits higher on me!). I also love the fact that the cosy legs now have a black lining to match the outside. The colours of the teal and bubblegum are really fun and strong.

From all of the new leggings we have sent you, what is your fave pair and why?

I love the bubblegum coloured legs, because they’re fun and different, but I’d have to say the cosy blacks are my fave overall as they seem to be the blackest of the two blacks and there’s no sheerness at all in these, plus I’m most likely to wear my leggings in winter when I need the warmth most, so these are going to be very well loved once winter rolls back around in Aus!

Have you tried our previous Matte Leggings? What is your feedback on those?

Yes! I’ve lived in them. For YEARS now. They changed how I viewed simple matte leggings forever haha; they just felt quality, ya know? Stretchy, comfy, not too thin or too thick, a little sheer in some situations but nothing horrific.

What do you like about the new Matte Black Leggings?

I didn’t even realise until I met the new ones but umm… these are proper BLACK! I used to think my old ones were, but I guess my life has been a lie? I love the feel of these new ones too, super soft but opaque enough for my fave pastime: leggings as pants. Plus, the waistband hits me in the exact right spot. Flattering!

Okay it’s hard to choose because omg look how pretty they all are. But I feel like you just can’t beat these Matte Blacks in terms of wearability. They’re SO comfy, SO versatile and SO getting a workout from me this week. Close second is the pink pair though cuz… pink!
