What is your role at BlackMilk? Fashion Designer.

How long have you been working at BM? Nine months.

What does a typical day at work look like for you? There is plenty going on so it varies: I could be designing gothic faux leather and lace black leggings in the morning and pastel feminine floaty dresses in the afternoon. 

What’s your fave thing about working at BM? Having the opportunity to be imaginative, contributing to completely different themed collections, and socialising with the other creatives I’m surrounded by. Cake every week.

What BlackMilk work achievement are you most proud of? The upcoming range, Plastic Fantastic Volume: The Candy Issue. I’m proud of this collection as it has a wide range of both bright pinks and moody dark tones with a variety of new designer silhouettes. Being plus-size myself I always look for ways to contour the body best suited to each customer’s figure.

What’s your fave BlackMilk piece? Nihon Shishu, Ziggy and Flamingo-Go.

Describe your style in three words Maximalism, Glam-Goth, Bright.

What do you love to do in your spare time? Burlesque dancing, calling Mum 24/7, rhinestoning things and collecting disco balls.

Fave food? Fettuccine Carbonara.

Do you have a hidden talent? I can tell anyone what their bust size is within three seconds of looking at them! I’ve been a specialist bra fitter now for five years.

What can’t you live without? Coffee and cats.

What are three items you’d take with you to a deserted island? Three different bikinis: style over survival!

What book should people read? The Racketeer, John Grisham.

What was the last show you binge watched? American Horror Story.

What are you listening to at the moment? Billie Eilish and Mac Miller. 

If you could go anywhere on your next holiday, where would you go? Harajuku, Japan, to experience the colourful street art, eccentric vintage fashion and upmarket boutiques.
