It’s a strange thing, being the last of your kind.

Once, I was a leader. Admired. Revered.

Now, I lead only myself, and I revere the sea.

I do not know when our great civilisation began…

But I was there when it ended.

When the waves came, they washed everything clean…

And when I emerged, I was alone.

At our peak, we could do almost anything.

We could create objects in a matter of minutes…

And communicate with only our minds.

Perhaps now, centuries later, there are other civilisations out there.

Perhaps one day, they will find what’s left of my world.

And I will be ready to meet them…

To lead, to be admired, to be revered once more.
