1. I was looking a box the other day and discovered a big pile of leggings I have made in collaboration with the amazing/talented Fleur of Beserk Clothing. She is a fantastic girl - she gave me a lot of encouragement in my early days of trying to sew and sell, and I think she has the distinction of being the first girl to ever buy something I had made.
She did the artwork for these leggings
I had planned on releasing them a while ago, but never got around to it!
So here I am ... around to it.
I have only a tiny amount... like 20 pieces, so if you want them, better be quick. :)

1. Collection crisis!!! I'm trying to get to work on my new collection but it's just not happening. People are buying so many swimsuits that that's all we can do right now. The reason? This picture here:
Scary - because I really want peeps to get stuff from the new collection by Christmas... which means they might have to get out really soon.
Maybe it might have to be a mini collection.

A teensy little critique here. I love the shape of the cuts I just have a couple of concerns. First off, aren't we cutting it a little fine with the positioning of the cuts at the front? Hate to point out the obvious... but ummmm... do you really don't want your little girls popping out for a little peek at the outside world?

1. Back from holiday - did you miss me? Yeah, I KNOW you missed me. C'mon, hug it out. And to the squillion peeps who emailed me. I'll try to get back to you all. :)
I apologise for the delays, we are just making a scary amount of clothes at the moment.
2. Had an interesting conversation with the girl in the shop at Mooloolaba (yes, that's a place). I was looking at some cut off denim short shorts (to style with my bodysuits) and I asked about the size:
Me: So what size are these?
Her: That's a size 8
Me: They look a little big for an 8.
Her: ... no that's the way they're meant to be. They're 'boyfriend' shorts.
Me: (Looking at the very short shorts) 'Boyfriend shorts? Like.. your unusually effeminate boyfriend wears them?
Her: No they're just boyfriend shorts. Y'know like boyfriend shirts?
Me: Yeah, but a boyfriend would never wear these because they're cut for a female leg... look, don't worry about it - how much are they?
Her: $220, they're Sass + Bide.
Me: Yikes.
Here's a tip for you, next collection Sass + Bide are going to be taking the fashion world by storm with the new 'boyfriend' bra.

1. Another big thanks you to everyone who has picked up gear over the last week.
I still have a massive number of boxes with various bits and pieces in them which I'll probably go through and sell off soon. I really want to clear everything out so I can have a clean slate and just focus on the new collection.
I've already started work on the new collection and it is going to be AMAZINGNESS!!!
If you are interested in what you can expect, here's a clue:

Actually, the inspiration for the new collection will be Star Wars. I am going to base a lot of the ideas on costume design from the Star Wars movies. This will be fun. :)
I'm also rewarding myself with a little holiday. My last two holidays got postponed because of ... well, you know. But I really am going this time. And I've been told (by quite a few people) that I'm not allowed to do fashion stuff on holiday.
No fashion stuff? NO fashion stuff at all!? Do the word 'cruel and unusual punishment' mean anything to you?!?!
