Too Many Tights!

I Think I'll Call These... Spartans. (Black Wet Look, Gold Highlight Mix!)

Hi leg luvvas. :)

I spent this afternoon designing, cutting and sewing these babies. I'm going to call them Spartans! (Unless anyone out these can give me a better suggestion for a name).

I'm really excited about these. Yes, they took forever, yes they're really tricky... but what an effect! Especially if you match it with nothing but black.

As usual, not for the girls who want to fade into the background. :)

Well, I picked up this fabric yesterday and am preparing to create some crazy masterpiece with it. It's going to be tough actually. It's a PVC.

It's completely flat, but it looks really textured and 3-D because of the lighting effect.

What do you think - a winner?

I'll post the finished product when I'm done sewing it... :)

The Sartorialist Strikes Again!

Two fantastic shots in two days. Go, Sartorialist, go!

I can honestly say I've never seen the 'wine' colored tights done really well. Until now.

Silver Cabaret Tights... by me :)

I did these about a month ago. They look amazing, but to be honest, the fabric is a little scratchy. I'm wondering if they would work if they were loose...? Hmmmmm.

Anyway, here's a pic:

How cool is it the way the stripes curl around the leg on an angle? (Very cool.)

Usually not a huge fan of the Sartorialist. Don't get me wrong - the guy is super talented and I do like his stuff, but I guess he's a bit too fashion and not enough fun for my tastes.

However, this image is something else. Agree?

Calm down, calm down... they're not made from real seals.

I totally don't have permission to post this picture, but I love this style so much that I'm prepared to rebel. 

... and if a certain street photography blog from Finland is going to come after me for it, bring it on, I say. If they resemble most fashion types I run into, I reckon I should be able to take 'em.

I love this style. Kudos to any girl who's willing to pull out the scissors, and try something different. Gold leggings, mixed up with ripped patterned tights.

Pretty much as the title says...

You have no idea how difficult it was to get these panels sewn into the sides... but I got there eventually. :)

I really like these, and so have most girls I have showed them to, I think it's the kind of punk/biker look, but with enough sparkly bits to make it feminine!
